About Us
Who we are, what we believe, and how we intend to govern.
PPOK is founded on the conviction that democracy must deliver development, and that development must be equitable, inclusive, transparent and sustainable.
Our Statement of Ideology defines who we are as a political movement, what we believe in, and how we intend to govern. It is a living document that guides leadership conduct, policy formulation, citizen engagement and national transformation.
Our vision
PPOK envisions a united, just, and prosperous Kenya in which leadership inspires trust, public resources are equitably shared, citizens are empowered to shape their future, and development reaches every household. We envision a nation that harnesses technology and innovation, protects its environment, nurtures talent, and stewards its resources responsibly for present and future generations.
Our mission
PPOK’s mission is to build a transparent, accountable, and inclusive developmental state that empowers citizens, drives innovation, strengthens democratic institutions, and delivers measurable improvements in the quality of life for all Kenyans.

Uendelezaji wa Kidemokrasia wa Kijamii
Markets are essential, but they must serve society. The state has a legitimate role in guiding development, correcting inequality, investing in human capital, and protecting citizens from vulnerability.
PPOK’s progressivism is people-centered, not anti-institutional. We mobilize citizens for reform, not resentment; for inclusion, not exclusion.
- A strong, accountable state
- Inclusive economic growth
- Democratic governance
- Social protection and public investment
Policy preferences
Our ideology is expressed through clear policy choices on how PPOK governs, legislates and allocates public resources.
Economy & national development
A strategic, coordinating state; regulated markets; public investment that crowds in private initiative. Agriculture, manufacturing, SMEs and the digital economy — with job creation for youth and women as the primary measure of success.
Health as a social right
Universal access to affordable, quality healthcare; strong primary care; investment in the health workforce; transparent health financing and procurement.
Education & skills
Equitable access at all levels, competency-based learning, digital learning tools and strong vocational and technical pathways.
Gender, youth & inclusion
Full implementation of the two-thirds gender principle, youth economic empowerment, disability inclusion and targeted support for marginalised communities.
Devolution & accountability
County fiscal autonomy, fair revenue sharing, strong oversight, independent audit and citizen participation in budgeting. Corruption is theft from the people.
Electoral integrity
Independent electoral management, trustworthy technology, transparent results transmission, party financing disclosure and fair internal nominations.
Security, justice & rule of law
People-centred security under civilian oversight, an independent and efficient judiciary, and equal application of the law to all.
Technology & environment
Digital government, open data and connectivity; climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy, conservation and green jobs.
This ideology is our compass. It binds our leadership. It empowers our citizens. Mulika Maendeleo.
